Obituary

Blanche was born in El Paso, Texas to her parents, Pedro and Sara Olivares. She was one of five daughters and two sons.
She married Albert A. Frink, Jr. in 1936 and moved to California in 1945. They settled on Earle Street in San Gabriel and Blanche was a loving wife and devoted mother of four children. After raising her children, Blanche began a career at Bragg’s, a fine women’s clothing store, in Alhambra. She decorated the seasonal window displays and had many loyal clients who relied on her impeccable sense of style and fashion.
Blanche and Albert retired to The Colony in Murrietta, California. In 1992, she lost her husband after 56 year of marriage, but continued to meet new challenges. She learned to drive at the age of seventy-seven and joined the water aerobics abd singles club at The Colony. She loved people and made friends easily.
Her many artistic talents included decorating her house. She collected angels and her favorite colors were pink and blue. Each visit to her home was a surprise for she was constantly rearranging the furniture and accessories. She loved to shop and was always fashionably dressed with attention to every detail.
Blanche was filled with unconditional love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the matriarch presiding over festive family gatherings, always ready with advice and concern. Blanche was proud of her Hispanic roots in Chihuahua, Mexico. She was a devout Catholic and it gave her great strength throughout her life, especially during the loss of her son, William Frink.
Blanche will be missed by her surviving two sisters, her children; Sylvia Bird, Albert Frink, and John Frink, their spouses, her ten grandchildren, and her six great grandchildren and the many other family and friends.
She was loved by all who had the pleasure to know her and they all lift their glasses to toast her in heaven where she now lives with the angels she loved so much.
