   Billy Don Brough was called home to be with the Lord Saturday November 3rd, 2012. He was born November 8, 1931 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Frank and Ruth Brough (Waynmier). He graduated from Riley High School in 1949, and a he is a graduate of Citrus College in Pasadena, California, class of 57. After College Bill became an avid aviator. He purchased several airplanes and enjoyed the freedom aviation provided. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1952-1955. During his tour he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal., Good Conduct Medal, Korean Service Medal with two bronze stars, the United Nations Service Medal, and the Combat Infantry Badge. He married Mary Jane Mondragon in 1971. He retired from ITT Cannon in 1987 after 27 years of service. Not one to sit still, during retirement he worked for the Mission Viejo Company and Leisure World. Billy loved to camp, ride ATV’s at Anza-Borrego, fishing and waterskiing at Lake Havasu and on the Colorado River. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Jane, his son Billy R Brough, Harker Heights, TX, daughters Mary Ramos, Orange, CA, Claudette Gonzales, Irvine , CA and Cynthia Blot, New Bern, NC and sister Barbara Hart, Jackson, MS. He was a loving grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He will be eternally missed.

   When I was a little girl, Bill (and Mary) were like second parents to me and their family a second family to me. I had so many experiences camping, car/RV shopping, dinners and other experiences that I would have have had with Bill (them). I admire his love for Mary and taking on 3 daughters who he loved completely. He could fix anything. My heart and mind are full of wonderful thoughts and memories that are extremely hard to articulate at this time. Bill…. will always be remembered… no doubt
