Obituary

Bill G Cooper peacefully went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2015 in Laguna Hills, CA at the age of 86.

Bill is survived by his wife, Dorothy Cooper, children, Mark Cooper and wife Teresa, Brad Cooper and wife Chloe, and Mark Cowan and wife Ashlee. He is preceded in death by his parents Guy and Alberta Cooper, his sisters, Bertie and Margie, his brothers, Dan and Wayne, his eldest son Dominick Cooper, and his eldest grandson Paul Cooper. Bill has ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Bill was born on July 30, 1928 in Holbrook, Nebraska. He graduated from Life Bible College with a Bachelor Degree in Theology. He married Dorothy Mae Seaworth, in 1976. They resided in Laguna Woods, CA.

He was a generous man who was passionate about God and family. He was active and dedicated to the church, and enjoyed leading worship and playing various instruments. His family remembers him as a loving and kind father who encouraged them in their faith and relationship with Jesus.

Bill was a successful real estate investor. He purchased his first piece of real estate at the age of 16 with money from his paper route. This began a lifelong passion in investing in foreclosure property before it was popular to do. He also loved to travel around the world with his wife, bringing back many wonderful stories to share with family and friends.

A funeral is scheduled for Monday, July 13, 2015, 10:00 a.m., at O’Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills, CA, with viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow with graveside service at El Toro Memorial Park, with a reception to follow. Pastor Mike Bayer of the Village Church of Laguna Woods will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend the celebration of Bill’s life.
