Beverly Jane Skora passed away on December 13th 2013, at 90 years of age, at her residence, The Villa Valencia in Laguna Hills, California.

Funeral services will be held at O'Connor Mortuary on Alicia Parkway at 12 o'clock on January 31st, 2014 with a graveside at El Toro Memorial Park, El Toro California to follow.

Beverly Backema was born September 18, 1923 in Michigan where she lived most of her life. She married Stanley Skora and was the mother of six children Stanley, Mary, Robert, William, Nancy and James.

She was a travel agent and had her own agencies in Michigan and Texas for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents Bertrum and Dorthy Balkema, husband Stan, and sisters Gerry, Doty and Lolly.

She is survived by her children, and grandchildren Emily, Betsy, Bobby, Andy, Kady, David, Chelsea and Tommy.
