Betty Ann (Emshousen) Venable entered into rest December 19, 2014. She married Stuart Venable, Roxana Hi 1945 in June 30, 1949.

She is the proud Mother of Barbara Naremore & Mike in Louisiana, Nancy Van Goethen & Henry, Las Vegas and Stuart Jr living in Pasadena CA.

Her Grandchildren are Daniel Miller, Amanda (Van Goethen) Best, Brandon Van Goethen, Allegra L, Venable and Zachary Stuart Venable. She loved her Grandchildren, they have all done well.

Betty Ann loved to dance, in fact she met Stuart at a VFW dance in Edwardsville. She square danced for 17 years, then when she moved to Laguna Woods, she continued with Clogging and Line Dance. She was a Girl Scout leader for 10 years and spent another 10 years in Cub Scouts as Den Mother, Commissioner and earning her Wood Badge plus several awards in Scouting.

Granddaughter Amanda said “Heaven truly gained a gem this morning.”
