Pernot, Betty, 79, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 28, 2006. ?B.J.? was born January 8, 1927 in Sisseton, South Dakota and lived her young adult life in Rockford, Illinois before moving to Southern California in 1962. She had lived in Mission Viejo for the past 10 years.

Betty retired from the Los Angeles County Department of Social Services after 25 years.

She is survived by her son, Rory and his wife Mary; daughter, Laura Lowe and her husband William; 3 grandchildren, Christina, Joshua and Dane; sister, Mary Lou Caumiant and brothers, Gene and Leo Kleindl.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Rene Pernot.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2006 ~ 10:00 A.M.. at O'Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills, California.

An Interment will be followed at El Toro Memorial Park in Lake Forest, California.
