Betty Gean Korleski, 71, was born October 6, 1936 in Texas and passed away March 7, 2008 in Mission Viejo, CA. Betty worked for Fairview State Hospital as a Psychiatric Technician for 18 years. In her retirement years, she became an active member of the Beach Cities Quilt Guild. During her tenure in the Guild, they made quilts for hospitalized children and injured soldiers. She also won 9 blue ribbons for quilts that she made at the Orange County Fair. She is survived by her husband, Charles M. Korleski; daughter, Connie Cain and her husband David Cain; sons, Chip Williams and his wife Sue Williams and Guy Dale Williams and his wife Cheri Williams; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
