  1. Ugh. So sorry to hear this. She was one very sweet kind person. Always inviting of us kids and allowing me to come visit and just open her refridgerator and just feel at home like I was one of the family. Allowing us all to come and hang out on a Friday or Saturday night. She made her home feel like I always wanted my children to feel. A place where all felt invited. She is missed. I should’ve talked to her since then, to thank her for giving us that. Love you Carolyn.

    What a Wonderful Woman!
My Aunt and Godmother Betty was indeed a shining beacon of love and light all throughout her life. I knew my aunt Betty for nearly 50 years and she was ever such a delightful individual and an endearing soul that I have ever known. She would chat with me during my years growing up and was always able to lend an ear for advice on many things and most appreciatively, things spiritual. I now say in exuberant elation and reverence that my Aunt Betty is now in heavenly bliss and safe at peace with all of her loved ones and most assuredly welcomed by my father, Les Grady and Betty’s Lord and Savior, Christ, Jesus. We will all miss you so very much.

  5. Mrs. Grady,

You will be missed. There are so many memories of you and John, John Jr., Tara, and Carolyn, in Florida as well as California, listening to classical music in your house. It was such a peaceful hobby and I thought to myself, one day, when I am grown up, I’d like to do that I do in my own home – and I do… You probably needed the classical music to offset the giggles and laughter and loudness that came from us running around your house! I always felt welcome in your home. Thank you. Love, Jennifer Perkins McCabe
