Obituary

Bette June Hardos, passed away the 5th  of January surrounded by family members in San Juan Capistrano.

Bette was born on June 25, 1929 in Garden Grove, California, to Andrew and Mildred Andreoli. She lived in Garden Grove until the age of six, then moved to Norwalk until she married. Bette attended Carmenita Elementary School and Excelsior High School. When she was growing up, she loved playing outside with her two brothers, Jim and Wally.

During high school, she met Lloyd Hardos and they were later married. Together, they had six children, Judy, Mary, Joanne, Marilyn, Mike and Vicki. Bette adored her children and they were always the love of her life. She loved her brothers Jim and Wally so very much and appreciated all that they did for her throughout her life. She is survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Later, Bette moved to Yucaipa and loved living there. During that time, she was a member of St. Francis X, Catholic Daughters, TOPS, Red Hats, Valley Mesa Garden Club, Bunco Group and made many, many friends. She loved her life in Yucaipa and enjoyed puttering around in her yard. In 2017, Bette moved to Brookdale Senior Living in San Juan Capistrano, so she could live closer to her family and it was there she made many new friends.

Bette was the rock and light of her family. She created a legacy of love and compassion that touched the lives of all she knew. She is greatly missed.

  3. Bette was the most loving, caring, friendly person you would ever meet. She was my June birthday partner. I am so blessed to have known her. We were in Red Hats, Bunko, Garden Club, and Tops together and we always had so much fun. I am so very grateful to have attended her 90th birthday party where she, as always, was smiling and laughing with everyone. I will remember her laughing and smiling always! Heaven got another special angel who will watch over us all. Goodbye Bette. I will miss you and always be grateful you were my friend.
