   I am so sorry to hear the passing of Betsy today. When I first started in the industry some 28 years ago, Betsy was my first manager at Republic Supply in Orange. She was very patient and I learned a lot from her. I was always impressed by her professionalism and coolness under pressure. Those days working in a little branch where you sometimes had to do it all are a thing of the past but I sometimes look back and treasure those days and I am glad I had the opportunity to work with her.

   With a heavy heart, we send condolences for your loss. Betsy and her sincere warm wishes through the many phone calls we had will be truly missed. While just a work relationship from across the miles that divided our states, Betsy, always so cheerful and pleasant had a way to always make me feel like I had been dong this for as long as she had. Always with a kind word and followups if personal information was shared. This genuine lady and her kind heart will be missed. To you, her family and friends, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. Rest in peace my friend.

   One of the highlights of my visits back to California was seeing Betsy. She was always supportive and shared wonderful ideas on ways to insure my mother’s health and safety. I’m going to miss her humor and her ready smile even when I knew she may not have been feeling well. What a gentle soul, God has called back to him.
