Barbara Ann
Taggart Perrine
February 10, 1941 – October 30, 2020
Barbara Ann Taggart Perrine
1941 ~ 2020
Barbara sadly passed away at the age of 79 on October 30, 2020 in Irvine, California from pneumonia.
She was born in Detroit Michigan on February 10, 1941 to Ann and Douglas Marshall. After graduating from Newark High School where she met her first husband. Barbara married Ronald Edwin Taggart (deceased 1978) and had three children Randall, Matthew and Erin. She remarried in 1995 to George Aldin Perrine from whom she gained three stepchildren Richard, William and Suzanne. Combined from both marriages she has six wonderful grandchildren and one great-grandchild (Loren, Haley, Elaine, Rachel, Natalie, Max and Miles). She was also a loving sister to Debbie Baker and her nieces Shannon and Kelsey.
For many years her passion was to play bridge. Barbara became a Life Master in bridge but mostly enjoyed it because of the great friends she met while playing. She was generous, artistic and sassy: never a dull moment. She spent most of her life making sure her family had everything they needed.
Having overcome so many illnesses, she seemed invincible. Never letting much stop her, she would get out of the hospital and on the way home ask to go shopping. Shopping was another one of her favorite hobbies. She could never pass up a sale.
Her husband George always said she was an "All American Cook that could create desserts and dishes like none other". Barbara had some great recipes that will be enjoyed by her family for years to come.
Unfortunately we are unable to have a service or celebration of life at this moment but plan to take her back to Newark Ohio to be buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery sometime in 2021.
Always loved and never forgotten.
