Obituary

Barbara Lynn Hall, 54, of Laguna Niguel passed away June 5, 2009, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with Lymphoma. She is survived by her husband Archie; her children Ryan, Jacob, Seth and Katy, all of Southern CA. Her parents Dale and Pat Patton of Grand Junction, CO, and sisters Debra Patton Davis, Sandra Michael Hobbs, Terri Steve Hickman; parents-in-law Archie and Bebe Hall all of CO; sisters-in-law Taylor Faye Brian Donaldson, San Francisco, CA, Galee John Fitch, of Gillette, Wyoming, and Kaye Dan Carlson, of Grand Junction, CO, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara was born March 24, 1955 in Grand Junction, CO. There she met her soul mate Archie and they married on July 20, 1975. They moved to Laguna Niguel, CA in 1991 with their four beautiful children. Here they created an incredibly full life filled with many friends, laughter and love.

Her proudest achievement was being a wife and mother. She filled each day with love and devotion to her husband, children, family and friends and inspired others to do the same. She had a contagious smile, warm laughter, and a personality that lit up the room. She was loved and respected and touched all who knew her. The world is a better place because she was in it.

She worked at Dana Hills High School in the special education department where impacting the lives of her students brought her joy every day.

Barbara’s faith and love for the Lord were evident to everyone that knew her. She lived her life in His honor and showed countless others the path to Christ. Her light shown brightly and burned out too soon. She will continue to live in our hearts and will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers please make donations in her name to the memorial fund set up at the Coast Hills Community Church.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at Coast Hills Community Church, 5 Pursuit, Aliso Viejo on Tuesday June 9, 2009 at 2:00 pm. A reception will follow the service at the church.
