Barbara Belous passed away on the evening of September 1. Born in Alhambra on December 1, 1924, Barbara lived in California her entire life and always loved the warm climate and the beaches. She attended Pasadena City College and worked as a secretary and bookkeeper until her marriage to Paul Belous in 1955.

For many years Barbara was an active member of the Costa Mesa Woman’s Club and Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Newport Beach. Along with her husband, Paul, she enjoyed attending events and taking trips with the Costa Mesa Senior Center. She suffered with Alzheimer’s disease for the last few years of her life.

Barbara was a loving wife and mother and her loss will be deeply felt by her son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Gina Belous, her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Mark Ambers, and her grandson Steven Ambers. Services will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Newport Beach at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 13, 2008, followed by interment at Ascension Cemetery in Lake Forest.
