Austin Harold Fernandes was born in Mangalore, India, on February 16, 1930, and died in Laguna Hills, CA on Thursday, December 7, 2006 at age 76.

He worked for Air India as Manager Passenger Relations for 33 years.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Elma; beloved son, Brian Fernandes; loving daughters, Crystal Pereira, Diane Alex and Lorraine Nazareth; beloved sister, Dorothea Pinto and darling grandchildren, Sonja, Nicole, Wayne, Shane, Andrew, Stacey, Shauna, Shawn and Megan.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2006 ~ 9:00 A.M. at O’Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills, CA. Thereafter, the Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, December 16, 2006 ~ 11:00 A.M. at St. Kilian Catholic Chuch in Mission Viejo, CA.
