Arthur John Schaub, 50, passed away April 24, 2012 after a battle with lung cancer. He was born on July 2, 1961 to Arthur and Charlotte Schaub in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Art is survived by his wife, Linda Schaub; son, Brian Jones; parents, Arthur and Charlotte Schaub; brother, David Schaub and sisters, Marjorie (Scott) DiLorenzo, Phyllis Schaub and Donna (Mark) Rath; and four nieces and seven nephews.

Art graduated from Ipswich High School in 1979, and attended Hennepin Vocational School studying agriculture. In 1986, he moved to California where he began his RV business. Ten years later, he married the love of his life, Linda.

Art enjoyed his dogs, hunting, hiking, fishing, the beach, walks at Dana Point Harbor, and gardening.

A Vigil Service will be held Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 1:00pm at O’Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, April 30, 2012 at 10:00am at the Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano, 31522 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675.
