Obituary

Arthur Harold Perkins
07/14/24 04/11/13

Arthur passed away peacefully in his sleep after visitation from many loving family members. Arthur is survived by sons Bob (Vicki) and Dan (Doris); grandchildren Jessica, Holly (Jimmie), Christina (Scott) and Charlie; great-grandchildren Justin, Jade, Jaxon and Maxx; and great-great-granddaughter Raeden. Arthur was the patriarch of the family, loved by all, always had a good story about times in his past, and was a wonderful husband for his wife Ruth, for 62 years, who passed away last year. He was lost and lonely without her, and now has gone home to join her.

Arthur served his country bravely in the Army Air Force as a B-17 Bomber Pilot in World War II, then in the reserves and retired as a Major after a total of 16 years service. He was a volunteer and helped obtain funding for a new annex for the Friends of the Library Bookstore, El Toro Branch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Friends of the Library Bookstore, 24672 Raymond Way, Lake Forest, CA 92630. The family will have a private memorial and lunch, and then spread his ashes at sea, as per his last wishes.
