Obituary

Arthur James Judice of Mission Viejo passed away peacefully on July 20, 2012 at the age of 95. Arthur was born in New York on July 5, 1917 to Charles and Antoinette Judice. He was the fourth of six children and grew up in the aftermath of World War I and during the Great Depression. By the age of 14, he was a champion billiards player and performed in tournaments and exhibitions all over the country. He served in the US Army during World War II. After many years as a top salesman and executive with Brunswick and later AMF, he became a successful business owner. In 1945, he married his beautiful wife, Sadie, and they had two daughters, Joanne and Arlene. They were married for 21 years until her death in 1966. The following year, he and his daughters moved to California.

Arthur was a devoted family man – a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his daughters, Joanne Johnston (Dale) and Arlene Parish (John); his grandsons, Seann Parish (Katie) and Christopher Parish; his great-granddaughter, Jordyn Elizabeth Parish; and his sister, Helen Sclafani. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sadie; his brothers, Robert, Louis and Charles; and his sister, Roslyn. He was adored by his family and will be deeply missed.

Vigil Service will be at 7:00pm on Wednesday, July 25 at O’Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am on Thursday, July 26 at Santiago de Compostela Catholic Church, 21682 Lake Forest Drive, Lake Forest, CA 92630.
