Arthur Janess, 91, passed away peacefully in his home on December 4, 2015. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and touched many lives with his friendly spirit. He was born on May 25, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois. He served in the Navy during World War II. Arthur attended Northern Illinois and Michigan State Universities. He taught and coached 9 years in Michigan and 26 years at Corona del Mar High School in Newport Beach, California. His interests were traveling, collegiate football, landscaping, singing and church activities. He is survived by his wife Doris and daughters, Linda VanKampen of Laguna Woods, CA, Susan Estrada and granddaughter, Erin Estrada of Phoenix, AZ and Carol Martinez of Scottsdale, AZ, and many cousins.
