Arlene J. Keefer September 2, 1924 – December 8, 2017

Arlene J. Keefer, age 93, died on Friday, December 8th, at Atria Woodbridge Senior Home in Irvine, California. She was born on September 2nd, 1924, the fourth of six children born to Clara and Clarence Lintner. She graduated from Kenmore High School in Akron, Ohio in 1942.

In 1941 she met Robert L. Keefer on a blind date and they were married on May 8th, 1948. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Agnes, Betty, Dorothy, brother John and husband Robert.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Arlene was loved by all who knew her. She was forever optimistic, always had a smile and loved dancing and parties. She was an exceptional waitress, working at the same restaurant for over 20 years where she was a customer favorite and frequently requested to serve at special events and meetings. During her retirement she volunteered for 17 years at Banner Medical Center in Payson, Arizona, and the St. Vincent De Paul food bank.

A Catholic Mass will be said in her honor on Wednesday, December 27th, 10:00 AM, at St. John Neumann Parish in Irvine, California, with Father Michael Khong officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:30 at B.J. Brew House Restaurant in Irvine.
