Obituary

Arlene Kozma Studer, 69, passed away peacefully at home on June 15, 2005 in Laguna Hills, California after a courageous two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Born August 11, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio, Arlene graduated from Waite High School in 1953. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, J. Lee Studer. Having lived most of her adult life in the greater Cleveland area, Arlene was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker and spent many years working for JC Penney in Richmond Heights, Ohio. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children they raised together in Lyndhurst, Ohio; Mark Lee Studer, Highland Heights, Ohio; Linda Lee Guesman, Laguna Niguel, CA; Scott Lee Studer, Chesterland, Ohio; Jon Lee Studer, Jr, Laguna Hills, CA; and six grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers, Louis Kozma, Toledo, Ohio; Ernest Kozma, Davenport, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at O?Connor Laguna Hills Mortuary, Thursday, June 23rd at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Calvin United Church of Christ, 1946 Bakewell Street, Toledo, Ohio 43605.
