With heavy hearts it is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved AJ.

Anthony Lee Wimbley Jr. “AJ” was born 12:03am, November 11, 2019 at Lucile Packard Childrens Hospital Stanford and shortly after in his mother’s arms went to be with the Angels in Heaven 12:43am, November 11, 2019. AJ was diagnosed with a significant and serious complex single ventricle congenital heart defect detected by ultrasound at 19 weeks in utero. AJ’s prognosis after delivery was unclear, however we chose to hold on to our faith and prayed for a miracle every day. From his mother’s womb to birth AJ was a fighter and fought until the end. AJ will be remembered by his parents Anthony and Melissa (Hufalar) Wimbley, sister Aliyah, maternal grandparents Timothy and Veronica Hufalar, paternal grandparents Calvin and Theresa Wimbley, and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Although AJ’s time on earth was short he still brought so much joy and happiness in to our lives.

-The Lord will fight for me, I need only to be still. Exodus 14:14 -For God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 -Faith does not make things easy it makes them possible. Luke 1:37 -Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6

A memorial service will be held 2-4pm Saturday , December 14, 2019 at O’Connor Mortuary, 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA 92653, 949-581-4300.
