I have known Tony for over 20 years, I worked with him for five years, one of my many memories of Tony is every time he would see me he would pick me up off of my feet and kiss me on the cheek and say DK broiler, how are you doing, somebody loves you !!! Tony was a kind and wonderful soul, he would always say that we were two peas in a pod. I will miss you T-bone, you were a good friend to me and I will always love you !!!

I first met Tony when I was coming home from work and there he was sitting on some stairs next to where I lived. A young handsome man he was with the most brilliant blue eyes. I went into my house and told my daughter Sherri that she needed to go out and take a look at the man sitting just outside our doorway. This was the start of what ended in Tony becoming my son in law and the father of Cassara and stepfather to Misty, my beautiful granddaughters. Tony loved to cook for the family and friends and everyone was welcome at his table. I had always thought that my Mom Mildred would have loved him because this was her way too and she would have taken him fishing and they would have told each other jokes. Tony loved to tell me jokes and he loved it even more that.I seldom got them and he would have to explain them to me. He always looked out for what he called “His Girls” and I was included as one of his girls that he was always there to protect in whatever way that was needed. Tony’s life will be remembered with love for the way he loved people. God Bless You Tony, Nona Spencer
