Doc! I’ll always cherish the times we played Sinatra and Elvis together on the piano. You never needed any sheet music you knew all the words by heart, and sang with passion. God bless you and your family.

Your dad “proctored” me when I arrived at South Coast Medical Center, using the same scope pictured with Dr. Orlandella above at the top of this page. He also gave me important encouragement to continue my quest to become a doc when that challenge was big. Even after my “famous” uncle discouraged me! During my visits at your house in DP he nearly put me to sleep with endless stories of the early disciples of medicine……Semmelweiss et al. That guy was a real Renaissance Man.
I apologize for not mixing this morning at the service. I think I am a little freaked out with Covid. I have fond memories babysitting you Orlandellas. And visiting with your dad and mom. You are a wonderful family and I wish you all the best going forward.

  3. I used to work for Elinor in the early 1990’s, through which I met Dr Orlandella. A wonderful person, husband and father. I often think back with found memories of all the Orlandella family. I will always remember one time when Dr Orlandella praised me for helping him with a medical billing issue and then he said to me, “Kathy you must have been sitting at the bus station, when your ship came in.” I will never forget that saying, because it seemed to sum up my life.

Although it has been years since I had been in touch with Elinor or Dr Orlandella, I will miss them both, but their memories will live forever and hold a special spot in my heart. To all my sincerest condolences
