Obituary

Tony (Anthony) Dilorinzo came into this world on 11/ 24/1935 and went to heaven on 01/10/2024.

Raised in Michigan with his brother and sisters, Tony grew up working on the family farm, which gave him a strong work ethic. He was a smart, ambitious man of character and loyalty.  He met his wife Lena in Italy and married soon after.  They moved to the United States to live the American dream, and they succeeded in love, health and wealth.

They had four children, six grand-children, two great-grandsons and a few furry grand-children. In the early 70’s they moved from Michigan to California, seeking better opportunities.  With prayers answered, they started and ran several successful businesses and surrounded themselves with a loving family.

Tony embodied all the qualities that really matter.  He loved deeply, he was loyal and kind, he was always positive filled with a warm sense of humor.  In his final year, when asked how he felt he would say “I feel like Superman”.  He loved God and instilled these beliefs in his family.

All who crossed his path were blessed beyond words.  He left us all with incredible memories of family gatherings, road trips, camping, worldly and sometimes just listening to country western music.  Tony is survived by his four children, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Our father, Tony, is now in heaven with our mother, Lena. They will both be greatly missed but we find comfort knowing they are in each other’s arms once again.
