Anne Marie Fellmer, 71, of Mission Viejo, CA passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013.
She was born in Carthage, New York, on April 23, 1942, to the late Gladys and Harold Robertson. Anne graduated from Franklin High School in Franklin, VA in 1960 and received a Clinical Laboratory Technician Certificate from Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, School of Laboratory Medicine in 1962. She married Richard Fellmer, formerly of Kenosha, WI, on October 3, 1964 and soon after drove across country to sunny, southern California where she and Richard resided for 49 years.
Anne was a beloved mother, wife and housewife, who devoted her time and energy to her family and friends. She had a gifted green thumb, doted on her numerous pets over the years, and was a lover and purveyor of books.
Anne is survived by her husband, Richard Fellmer of Mission Viejo, CA; her two sons, Chris Fellmer of Las Vegas, NV and Greg (Emily) Fellmer of Ladera Ranch, CA; her two sisters, Mary (Gene) Warner of Suffolk, VA and Beth (Wayne) Blythe of Franklin, VA; and her sister-in-law, Ardis (Don) Chretien of Biddeford, ME and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Anne's honor to the City of Hope, Duarte, CA.
An open-house celebration of Anne's life will be held at the Fellmer home, beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7.
