Patricia Ann Nixon, aged 89, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026, at her home in Lake Forest, California. Born on September 21, 1936, in Lincolnshire, England, to the late Walter Piggott and the late Evelyn Sargeant Piggott.
Ann grew up in the English countryside. Ann tells the romantic story of being a young 16 year old girl in a dress shop in England when in walks this dashing, handsome American military officer who sweeps her off her feet. They quickly marry and he brings her to America where they built their life together. They travelled the world and loved their boxers and bulldogs. Ann was an avid bridge player and won many national tournaments throughout her illustrious career and continued to play in Laguna Woods until late last summer.
On Monday morning, Memorial Day, in her home surrounded by those who loved her, Ann went to be with Jesus. She spoke about how she was ready and wanted to be welcomed in His arms and reunite with Chuck.
Ann is preceded by her father and mother, her husband, Laurence Charles Nixon, her brother James. She is survived by her sister Joan Davies and her niece Susan Margaret Alison Davies Duguid and nephew Robert Adrian James Davies.
Memorial Service will be held at the pavilion at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard , Riverside, CA on June 17, 2026 at 12:30pm.
