Obituary

Ann King was a devoted daughter, sister, and friend. It is with deep sadness that we announce her passing on October 3, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 49. Ann was a remarkable woman whose strength and spirit inspired everyone who knew her.

Ann was an avid tennis player, who had an infectious enthusiasm and loved to play on the court. She cherished every moment spent with friends, whether it was organizing lively gatherings or simply sharing laughter and stories. Her home was a haven of warmth and hospitality.

As a devoted daughter and sister, Ann’s love for her family was unwavering. She made it a priority to stay connected, always offering her support and kindness. Her smile could light up any room, bringing joy and comfort to those around her.

Ann will be dearly missed by her friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. In her honor, a memorial service will be held on October 10, 2024. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to https://bit.ly/annking. They provide financial help to women trying to obtain cold caps during chemo.

Rest in peace, Ann. Your spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.

I haven’t seen you since you lived in New Jersey and friends with our daughter Marjorie and friend Jennifer. When I saw your picture I gasped at how beautiful you are, not only on the outside but as I knew on the inside too. It sounds like you loved California and had many friends. Yes your smile was always so welcoming.
Our condolences to Ann’s family, may peace be with you all. Arlene, Art Sapperstein
