   March 2, 2017…a little poem I wrote in the evening after seeing my grandmother for the last time

   Ninety-two years, what a wonderful life
   A grandmother, friend, a mother, and wife
   This morning you took your last breath in this world
   With sadness, eyes teared and emotions unfurled
   I thought and thanked the Lord for all the times we’ve shared with you
   For all the life lessons, so many I will value
   There’s so many good things to be said about you
   I want to take a moment just to name a few
   You’re kind-hearted, charitable, generous, admirable
   The love for your family is so inspirational
   You’re talented with computers and other technology
   Not every grandmother can use a cell or Skype me
   I aspire to be selfless like you everyday
   I want to say thank you for showing the way
   May you lead me as my guardian angel above
   What a lucky girl I am to have experienced your love
   Rest in Peace, Lola
