Anita Isabel McKain

Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and friend, passed peacefully on February 24, 2021. Anita, born on August 11, 1934, in Pittsburg PA was married to the love of her life, Clarence (Pat) McKain for 55 years before his passing in 2005. Together they had six children, Douglas, Michael, Nancy, Patrick, Linda, and Sharon. She was also blessed with 11 Grandchildren, who she adored, Kelli, Doug, Kristen, Jenny, Shannon, Coco, McKenna, Marlo, Zachary, Spencer, Collin, and Carson, and three Great-grandchildren, Noah, Madison, and Mackenzie. Her greatest joy was the holidays and family events when everyone was gathered together. She would sit back and say, "I love when my whole family is together laughing and having fun!" Everyone she encountered, from nurses to grocery checkers, was subject to hear the roll call of her six children, 11 Grands, and three Greats! She was so proud to tell them about all of us and our accomplishments!

She was the guiding light by which her family lived. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her dearly, especially her constant companion, and 12 ^th Grandchild, Coco (pictured here with her).
