John Andrew Crowe 1983 – 2016
John “Andrew” Crowe, 32, of Irvine, CA, and formerly of Seabrook Beach, NH and Lowell, MA, passed away unexpectedly at home with his mother by his side on April 30, 2016 following a lengthy illness. He was born in Newburyport, MA on November 23, 1983, the cherished son of John and Karen (Linnehan) Crowe.
Andrew filled his healthy years with more exuberance and enthusiasm than most will never experience. Andrew was blessed with many gifts, and one that stood head and shoulders above the rest was his outgoing, charismatic personality. Early in his childhood, Andrew was comfortable conversing with people of all ages and on a variety of topics while vehemently extolling the virtues of his beloved Los Angeles Lakers and New England Patriots. He was adventurous, was the center of many memorable times, and always had entertaining stories to share..he was a captivating young man.
Andrew was a celebrated youth athlete, ranking in the top ten of all California high school golfers. He went on to play collegiate and professional golf. His happiest moments were on the fairway and greens of Bear Creek and Pebble Beach, where he competed several times and pushed himself and his peers for excellence.
He is also survived by his fiancée, Alicia Chavez; his parents John and Karen (Linnehan) Crowe; his adored sisters Kate and Karolyne; his brother-in-law Greg Pelletier; and niece, Gabrielle, along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and of course, his canine companion, Ollie. He attended Immaculate Conception School in Lowell, M, graduated from Murrieta Valley High School in Murrieta, CA, Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, CA, and Boise State University.
Memorial services will be held at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Irvine, California on Friday, May 6 at 10 a.m. and at a future date at his family home in Seabrook Beach, NH. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Andrew’s memory to The First Tee (http://www.thefirsttee.org/).
