Happy birthday, Andrew. Filled with both sadness and gratitude today. Sadness at such a great loss for all of us and for your unrealized future. Sadness at the grief JoAnn experiences. But gratitude for having known you and shared some fun and meaningful times. I now know more about your life away from family, your friends and school life and, even more, appreciate what a special perceptive person you were. If you are “out there” some where, know we love you and miss you and hold you in our hearts forever. To day I will pray, in my own way, for peace in the future for you, your mother, and all of us who were so deeply impacted by your presence in our lives.

It’s been a while Andy.. I still miss you to this day. It still floors me, the day I heard about what happened.. You brought so much love and light into my life, as well as many others; and it pains me to even think about it all.. I know you cant see this right now but you were an amazing human being and I treasured every moment I got to spend with you. I miss you dearly. Hearing about your internship with Northrop and all the amazing things you were doing, bullshitting with you about whatever. Those few days we got to spend in Savannah were some of the best of my life. I just wish we could have had more. Rest in peace <3

I've looked at your obituary for years, but couldn't find it within myself to find the intestinal fortitude to say something, and for that i'm truly sorry. You meant everything to me…
