Amelia M. Lukaszka, age 94 of San Juan Capistrano, CA passed away on Saturday, Oct. 20 ^th , 2018  at home. During her stay at home, she was comforted by family, friends, hospice and caregivers.

Amelia married Joseph J. Lukaszka in 1953 and they settled in West Newbury, Massachusetts to raise one son (John W. Lukaszka) and one daughter, (Diana S. Lukaszka).  Amelia was devoted to her husband who is preceded her in death on April 7, 2008 and is currently interred at El Toro Memorial Park Cemetery.  John W. Lukaszka passed away on Oct. 17, 2004 and is interred at Rural cemetery in West Newbury. Amelia is survived by her daughter, Diana S. Lukaszka of San Juan Capistrano, CA.

Amelia was always very caring and helping others,  through her interest of knitting and crocheting, making chemo hats, baby outfits and blankets for her family and adopted family, homeless, Casa Theresa, Marine Corps and clergy.  She belonged to Telephone Pioneers and the knitting group at Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano where outreach programs served the community. Funeral services will be at Mission Basilica Church and burial to follow church services.
