Alistair Robert Hawker passed away at Hoag Hospital, Newport Beach, CA Thursday December 23, 2010. He was a resident of Orange County for the past twenty-one years and spent more than sixteen of those years in Irvine.

Alistair's career as a Master Craftsman included teaching, general management and founding a company in which he designed, fabricated and installed custom cabinetry and fine wood furnishings. His occupation took him from Scotland where he was born September 4, 1947 to Africa, then Nova Scotia, and finally Southern California. He is a son of the late Philip Stockley Hawker and Mary Leach Hawker. He leaves his wife Patrice Monique Hawker; His five daughters Tracey Prescott, Sarah Hawker, Emma Gadsby, Philippa Hawker and Alexandra Hawker; His two sons Stuart Hawker and Jamie Hawker; His sister Frances Ruth Hawker.

–A memorial service will be held on Thursday morning December 30, at 10 o'clock in the LDS chapel located at 5353 Bryan Avenue, Irvine, CA. In place of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the youngest daughters' college funds.
