Alisha K Hornsby passed away peacefully on November 22, 2021. Born on May 22, 1972 in Dallas, Texas, Alisha spent her youth in Orange County, California where she attended Capistrano Valley High School. She went on to attend and graduate from UCLA where she made life-long friendships through her membership in the Alpha Phi Sorority. Alisha began her career in consulting with Putnam, Hayes, & Bartlett until she made the leap to further herself by getting an MBA. She left the West Coast for Chicago to attend the University of Chicago’s prestigious Booth School of Business. She continued her HR consulting career at Mercer, Beachbody, and eventually The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

Alisha enjoyed gardening, cooking, shopping, decorating, and hunting for that perfect item at the flea market. She was known by all for her leadership qualities, fierce loyalty, her mischievous giggle, and her epic holiday parties and splendid decorations.

She is survived by her mother Deena Hornsby of Mission Viejo, California, her brother Bradford Hornsby of Palo Alto, California, and her beloved aunts and cousins.

Donations may be made in her memory to Planned Parenthood, Susan G. Komen Foundation, American Lung Association, or the charity of your choice.
