Obituary

Dr. Alireza Rahmaty was granted his angel wings on July 15, 2014, in Laguna Hills, California. He was surrounded by his family during his final days. Ali was born on October 26, 1940 in Dehloran, Iran. Once he graduated high school he moved to Tehran, Iran to further his education in English. This is where he met his soul mate, only after 3 months of dating, they married. After getting married he had 2 children and decided to move to the United States so he can obtain his Doctorate degree and become an Attorney.

Ali touched the lives of many people with his smile and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Ali loved listening to classical music and watching old westerns on TV. He loved to read and write poetry. He had written one poetry book called “Scarecrow.” He also wrote a short story novel called “Freedom in the Chains” and was working on his second poetry book before his passing.

Ali is survived by his loving wife Amy of 45 years; his beloved children Maz (Sandra) of Conroe, Texas and Mandana (Todd) of Upland, California; his cherished grandchildren Brina and Brandon of Conroe, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters in Iran.

“Good night, good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say good night til be morrow” – William Shakespear.
