Alice Greene

Alice Greene, 85, of Irvine, CA, passed from this life with her loving family by her side on February 1, 2022.  Alice is survived by her four children: Jim Greene, Tim Greene, Steve Greene and Cindy Terry; seven grandchildren: Tiffany Greene, Jeannie Kennedy, Nicole Greene, Francesca Greene, Josh Greene, Zach Greene and Kate Terry; three great-grandchildren: Alex Kennedy, Allison Kennedy and Tinley Hardy, as well as three siblings, Eunice Hrbacek,
Paul Kramer and Judy Hardy.

Alice will be remembered by all who loved her as a kind, caring, joyful woman who was always quick to lend an ear or offer up a prayer to those in need.  She had an unbounded devotion to her family and was a faithful servant to her Lord, Jesus Christ.  She could be affectionately dubbed "St. Mom", as even in her most difficult moments, Mom put everyone's needs before her own and continued to pray for the struggles of her family until the end.  She lived a life of humility and found joy from the smallest things one could imagine.  She leaves us with an incredible example of how to face fears, adversity, pain and suffering with strength, courage, even joy, but above all else, faith in God above.

Her passing leaves a monumental void in the lives of those who loved her, but of equal magnitude will be the loving memories that will reside in our hearts of the beautiful woman we are so blessed to call "Mom", "Grandma", Great-Grandma" and "Friend".

The funeral Mass for Alice is to take place on Saturday, February 19 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 52 Marketplace in Irvine, CA 92602, followed by interment at Ascension Cemetery at 24754 Trabuco Road in Lake Forest, CA 92630.
