Alfreda "Jadzia" Gmitruk, 91 of Laguna Woods, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015 in Laguna Niguel.

Originally from Poland, Alfreda moved to England where she married her husband Antoni and had two children, Mary and Lillian Gmitruk. Her family then moved to the United States in 1952.

She loved cooking, family and spending time laughing with her friends.

She is survived by two children, Mary and Tony Gmitruk as well as three grandchildren, James Boggi, Ann Dakis and Lisa Dakis.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Laguna Woods on Friday, January 30th at 9:00 AM.'
