Alexander Vu Nguyen led his life with upstanding character, steadfast beliefs, and a gentle empathy that left a lasting impact on all that came to know him. Born on May 13th 1999, Alex spent his entire life living in Southern California with the constant companionship of his family and friends. He graduated from UC Riverside with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2021 and began working in the medical field soon after this momentous accomplishment. He treated his career with incredible respect, always ensuring that each task was done meticulously and thoroughly to guarantee patient prosperity. His passing leaves a great hole within the field that will be felt by his coworkers for years to come.

Alex’s passion for his career could only be matched by the passion for his many hobbies. A man with refined tastes and a creative mind, he spent his free time indulging in and tinkering with high end audio equipment, building gunpla model kits, creating custom trading cards, playing various games with friends, discovering and analyzing music, and attending live performances. Whenever you would speak with Alex he would have a new project started and a new fascination ready to be extensively talked about. He was a source of quiet inspiration, resounding joy and soothing encouragement to those around him, and he worked hard to ensure that his friends and family were always shown love and cared for.

Alex transitioned to the next life in the early hours of April 18th 2026 in San Francisco while on vacation to visit family. He is survived by his parents Phong and Lan, his older brother Austin, and his sister-in-law Taylor.

His friendship, laughter and presence will be profoundly missed.
