  3. Dear Santos Family,

I thank you for including our alumni and Albert’s friends. We are honored and humbled to be able the Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Albert. I am so sad and sorry about Albert. He was our dear friend. I first met Albert in first grade at Christ the King School. We both spoke Japanese only, and were scared to have to learn English. He was quiet and shy, always comforting, and kind to everyone. Later we met again at Kubasaki 9, sharing the same English class and hanging out together during school. After Kubasaki HS, and leaving Okinawa 40 years ago, I saw Albert at our Kubsaki Dragons mini reunion in San Diego. We bonded immediately, enjoying our monthly get togethers and reunions. Albert wanted to go back to Okinawa so badly, and planned to join our Okinawa Friendship Reunion, 2015. He is already there smiling, and watching over is in Happy Okinawa heaven. Albert was a talented photographer, and always took the best pictures of everyone. He is loved by many and will be missed greatly. I will be there at the service, honoring Albert’s love for his family and friends. Sweet sayonara, to our good friend, Albert.

    Love,
    Masami Ciola Jenkins
