Obituary
In Loving Memory of Alan Paer
March 26, 1951 to October 8, 2020
Alan Paer was a devoted husband to Doreen, a loving father to Lisa and Michael, and was excitedly anticipating becoming a grandfather to his soon-to-be granddaughter, Harper.
Alan had a passion for cars and was known as “Mr. Chrome” among his friends. He was a car guy through and through, spending countless hours working on his beloved 1967 Stingray Corvette. His dedication paid off as he frequently won awards at car shows, including Best of Show, Best Engine, and People’s Choice. In addition to his love for cars, Alan loved computers and had a successful career in the telecommunications field.
Alan’s interests were diverse, ranging from his passion for computers and technology to his appreciation for nixie clocks and movies featuring Robert De Niro. He had an inquisitive mind and was always eager to learn and explore new hobbies. He was also super fun to be around!
Alan is deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy as a dedicated husband, loving father and brother, and talented car enthusiast and computer guy will forever be cherished.

My condolences on Al’ passing. I knew Al through working with him at FA. He and I spent many hours on the phone as I was based in Texas. The times we shared were always filled with joking and laughter. He will be missed.
My apologies for the lateness but I just heard.

You were the sweetest, funniest and gentlest person I knew. I am so sorry I left you, it was a stupid thing to do.
