Obituary

Adam Kenneth Hoffer was born in Mission Viejo March 16, 1974 and passed November 27, 2018 in Mission Viejo. He graduated from Trabuco Hills High School and computer school in San Diego.  Adam had 2 career paths:  loan processing and IT supervisor.  He lived in Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, San Clemente, San Diego, and 7 years in Bangkok, Thailand.  He was well-travelled, enjoyed sports, his team, the Chargers, surfing, dirt biking, and playing drums and guitar.

Adam was an integral part of his family and many friendships and will be greatly missed.  He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Shari and John Beckett;  father and step-mother, John and Cyndy Hoffer; brother, Eric Hoffer; sister, Amy Larsen; grandfather, Kenneth Knerr; and 3 nieces, Taylor Hoffer, Camille Larsen, and Colette Larsen.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Adam’s name to American Red Cross, particularly to the CA Wildfire Relief Fund.

  1. Adam, since the day i met you in 9th grade you were always, and will continue to be, a loving light. So many fun times together. I can’t remember a time when you didn’t have that happy, bright, mischievous smile on your face.

    So loving, carrying, talented. I’ll feel you near and appreciating zest for life in all things fun and beautiful that come my way. You always had a talent for seeing and bringing those things out wherever we went.

    My heart, good thoughts and prayers are with Adam’s family and friends.

    Adam convinced me to go to Thailand with him on Christmas night and I bought my ticket that night. We ened up spending almostb3 weeks in Thailand and Cambodia. It’s a memory that will stick with me forever. I miss you Hoffer.
