Obituary

Abud Casavi, 85, of Lake Forest, California passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 14 surrounded by his loved ones.

Abud was a self-made man, who enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. Although born in Bethlehem, Palestine in 1927, he left his home to see what the world had to offer and arrived in Haiti in 1948. Abud arrived in Los Angeles in 1963, by way of Honduras, where he met and married the love of his life, Emma.

Although he was a successful business man, his pride and joy was his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 50 years, Emma (Defago) Casavi of Lake Forest; Daughters, Carmen Casavi Deary of Honolulu, Hi; Claire Steeves of Lake Forest; Gina Casavi of Lake Forest; Margaret Casavi of Irvine; Son, Abraham Casavi and wife Judy of San Gabriel; Along with grandchildren Joelle and Kristina Curtis, Ethan and Kennedy Casavi, and Sara Steeves. There are also numerous family members who will miss this fun-loving, warm-hearted, and kind man we all loved.
