Pop. I miss you so much. You meant so much to me. I can’t believe I’ll never see your face again or rub the top of your head. I’m glad you aren’t in pain any longer. I know that if you had 10 years left, it still wouldn’t have been enough time. Grateful we got to about everything I could think to ask and I’m confident that you taught me all of the important things a daughter should know. Now you have wings to fly. Join Jenny, tell her thank you for letting me have so much of your time. I’ll see you tomorrow, so stay out of trouble until then.

I have had a hard time trying to post a comment in Barry’s obituary. Today, January 22, 2020 is Barry’s birthday, where he would have turned 76 years of age. He was a wonderful brother and we shared many experiences growing up in a military family and traveling all over the world. We all were drafted into the US Army to serve our country during the Vietnam War. Duty, Honor and Country were instilled in us by our parents. Our youngest brother Carl gave the ultimate sacrifice in September 1968. Barry served in the Old Guard at Fort Myer, Virginia, a very honored assignment. This was also known as George Washington’s army. I served at Fort Bliss, Texas, and we kept in close contact during this time and shared many experiences in our military service. He was a wonderful brother. I will continue to miss him throughout all time, and see him again in the future.
