I was shocked and saddened to recently learn of Aaron’s passing. We dated for two years during high school and college, and while it may have been a long time ago, I have such fond memories of him. He was kind, funny, and fiercely loyal to his family and friends. My heart goes out to the Melzers during this difficult time.

I had actually flown from Ohio to see Secrets and to meet some friends for the first time that I met online through the band. He was so shocked to see me there and hung out with us the whole time when they weren’t on stage. He even trusted us to man the merch booth when their merch girl was away. At the end of the night he got us all in a big group with the band and had us all pose for a photo together. He lifted all of us girls in the air for a huge hug before they packed the bus in. It will forever be a great memory of mine – including being front row and getting a mic grab with my friend. Love you Aaron!
