Long before the current diagnosis of “prolonged grief disorder” was codified into the medical and psychiatric literature, Drs. Bill Worden and Bill Hoy were facing complex grief with their patients, as well as writing about and thinking about the best ways to categorize and address complex forms of bereavement. In this fast-paced conversation between our beloved bereavement advisor, Dr. Bill Hoy and his mentor, Dr. J.
